Hello, my name is Lyne Eden.
i am the owner, maker, flower grower and florist
that creates  Edens Harvest.

Edens Harvest started about 14 years ago.
At the time, Honeybees were struggling and it seemed like a fun idea to get a hive and see if we could help.
One hive suddenly became 3 hives, with no experience of keeping bees, we had to read a lot and learn quickly.
We soon discovered that when we extracted the honey, we were left with lots of golden beeswax and nothing to do with it..
Candles seemed like a reasonable idea...

Beeswax candles are beautiful.
Natural and pure.
They burn brightly,
cleanly and with no drips or toxins released into the air that
you and your loved ones breathe in.
But i decided i wanted to make scented beeswax candles as well
And beeswax does not hold scent very well
​ a 4 year learning process began,
with lots of tears, tantrums and failures.
Until one evening the most perfect apple scented candle worked!
It filled the room with its scent, just like i had imagined...
Perfection!

​But what about the flowers???
Well in honesty, i have enjoyed growing the occasional flower or random vegetable since i was small.
I wanted to be a Florist and have been lucky enough to work in two florists shops.
After growing mainly vegetables to be as self sufficient as i could, I decided to go and get some qualifications to back up my skills and my enthusiasm. 
Then i was off and running.. trying all the things i had wanted to do.

I soon realised that it seemed like a good idea
to combine both of the things
that i felt passionate about to create a business,
and so first version of Edens Harvest was born.
